Nenad Sebek is the Director of the Belgrade office of the Heinrich Böll Foundation. Previously, he was the Spokesperson for the Regional Cooperation Council for two years having served before that as Executive Director of the Center for Democracy and Reconciliation in Southeast Europe for 12 years. Prior to joining the CDRSEE in 2002, he worked as a journalist for 26 years. He spent his last two years in journalism as Moscow Correspondent for the BBC and before that worked for 4 years as the Balkans Correspondent, covering the region through the tumultuous 1990s. He started his journalistic career in Radio Belgrade and joined the BBC World Service in 1986.
