Atonela Riha is a journalist from Belgrade. She began her career in Radio Belgrade in 1988. During the wartime 1990s she worked as a researcher for the Humanitarian Law Center. From 1996, she was a journalist and then news editor for Radio B92. For B92 Television she presented the programme Poligraf (“Polygraph”) and then, for Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) she was author of the programme Raspakivanje (“Unpacking”). After two years working for weekly NIN current affairs magazine as political editor, she has been since 2015 a freelancer, producing the programme Necenzurisano (“Uncensored”) on Radio Television of Šabac and a regular contributor to the portals Cenzolovka (free media) and Osservatorio Balcani e Caucaso (Balkans and Caucasus Observatory).
